Issue with the quality of fax communication

MC860 Modification Kits available
It has come to our attention that MC860 series products shipped before August 2009 within the EMEA region are missing some parts from their accessories.
If your OKI Product MC860 series has a serial number within the range of AF8xxxxxxxxx and AF99xxxxxxxx, then it is likely that it did not contain all accessories and instructions.
The exclusion of these parts – the ferrite cores which can be found around many cables for electrical equipment - may result in issues with the quality of fax communication, if – and only if - the device is placed in an electrically noisy environment. It does not present any health & safety risk nor should any other functionality of the product be affected.
OKI Printing Solutions is now working with its distribution and reseller partners to upgrade the products, which have already been placed in the market. Please contact your OKI stockist, dealer or OKI repair centre - listed at the back of the user manual for a modification kit. We will then dispatch the necessary instructions and parts to you free of a charge.
